The Witcher 10th anniversary

A well-written video game character feels real, more so than a movie or book character will ever do. As players, we feel that we ourselves were there in the game's world or there with the main character as a friend, and we went through all the hardships and triumphs in the story for real. Our memories of the time spent in the game's world are embedded in our minds like memories of our real world experiences. The below video is proof that the makers of The Witcher series understand this perfectly. This video makes me teary eyed and I played only the last Witcher game. I can imagine how it can affect someone emotionally who has been playing these games for a decade. It is like getting a phone call from a long lost friend, learning that they are doing well and still remember us and the good times we spent together. *sniff* :,)
